Well, they sure did that quickly, very impressed. Will be nice to see where we all are.

Hope they don't eliminate me by mistake because I was in the 20s before the scores went crazy so I started playing it like crazy trying to chase these mad scores especially when the boring football was on

I bet my score is considered huge now, I'm probably in the top ten!!

SUBJECT: TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED - THE "MITSUBISHI ASX CHALLENGE" ONLINE GAME

Dear ASX Gamer,

We have become aware of the 'unusual' increase in scores achieved by certain individuals playing the ASX Challenge Game recently.

We can see that foul play is at work - and as such we have temporarily suspended game play while our investigations are concluded. We believe this is the most appropriate action to take for all those of you who have been fairly competing for prizes and top scores.

Anyone who has gained points by unfair methods will be identified and permanently eliminated and blocked from all future game play. At the same time, those who have been playing fairly will retain their league position as at the moment the game was frozen and will not be disadvantaged in any way. We will inform all players once we have concluded our investigations and when the game is back online, which we hope to be very soon.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this causes and can assure you that Mitsubishi Motors will not tolerate any unfair play in the "Mitsubishi ASX Challenge" game.

I can confirm that we are able to identify those scores that have not been achieved legitimatley and any genuine scores (no matter how high!) will not be deleted.

I too had been playing loads to try and get back in the top 50 having dropped out of the top 10 in a matter of days. I was beginning to think I'd have to take a week off!

Dear ASX Gamers

We are pleased to inform you that the Mitsubishi “ASX Challenge” game is now back online.


We have identified that a single player, operating under a number of 'names' managed to gain access to the game’s scoreboard. All of these records have now been permanently eliminated from the competition.


All genuine players are now back in the correct positions on the scoreboard as at the moment when the game was frozen on the afternoon of Monday 14th June.


For extra security and to ensure ongoing fair play, the scoreboard will now be checked by us at Mitsubishi Motors on a daily basis and we will eliminate any illegitimate scores. This means you will still be able to see your own score in real-time, but the scoreboard will be verified by us and posted daily.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and want to assure all legitimate players that their hard earned positions on the leader board have not been lost. With 14 days left to compete for the top spot and the various prizes on offer, the competition is still wide open and all to play for – good luck.

Shame I discovered this too late, it's a good game but I've got no hope of getting into the top 50 (only got 180,000) so there's not much point in playing. I don't suppose there are some smaller prizes for anyone who plays fairly regularly?
