On thursday I was 65,000 points away from being in the top 50, in position 55, on Friday evening I was in position 88, and about 10 million away from the top 50.

How do people such as Kloss go from 36,047,363 points at 6pm on Saturday to 71,159,176 points 10am Sunday?

    That's 35,111,813 points in 16 hours.

The best game I have found is the packing game, which you can usually get about 4,000 points give or take everytime. So using that as a guide.

    35111813 / 4000 = 8777 (games needed)
    8777 / 16 (hours) = 548.5 games per hour
    548.5 / 60 = 9 games per minute.

The best I can do is about 3 games per minute.

Today Johny3 went from 38,087,229 points at 10am to 58,304,275 points at 15:30, a rise of 20,216,976 points in 5.5 hours.

Using the 4000 points as a base line:

    20216976 / 4000 = 5054 games
    5054 / 5.5 = 918 games per hour
    918 / 60 = 15 games per minute.

Can someone tell me what their secret is because it seems physically impossible for one person to get that many points in such a short space of time.

Either there are a large number of people playing at the same time with one login, or the scores are being fiddled.

Yup, something definitely fishy going on here.

Just look at "Honda25" - went from 50th at 12:30pm today to 1st in less than 6 hours amassing about 95 million points!!
  • Yup, Honda25 at 10am this morning: 28871251 (47th), now first with 123,022,178, as bkooga points out thats 94,150,927 points!

As you may have seen from the comments on the main ASX page we are aware of the 'unusual' increase in scores from certain elements within the game and we are currently investigating to see if these are legitimate. In the mean time keep playing, we will advise you as soon as we know more.

Well thought I'd play a couple of hourse to see if I could get back into the top 50 after losing nearly 40 places overnight and worked my way up into the 40s and, just as happened yesterday, in the last ten minutes of playing lost all my places minute by minute as a load of scores jumped ahead of me one by one.

I suspect there are at least 20-30 illegitemate players (or maybe just one player with different accounts) who has hacked this flash game (which apparently isnt rocket science if you know where to look on the web) and each day just jumps a load of scores forward.

This should be easy to spot by Mitsubishi and they should delete them ASAP because this is getting ridiculous for all the effort some of us have put in.

Oh good, glad I am not the only one to have noticed this. I have kept in the mid thirties all the time and hadn't played over the wekeend. I checked today and suddenly I am in the eighties. I was going to give up this morning, but I might carry on and hopefully they will get rid of these fake scores.

    Thank you all posters

just checked again and to be honest I think maybe nearly ALL of these scores may be fake, because quite a few of them are jumping 3 million points within minutes, one of them has just done it twice.

There seems to be a program which when you get into the top 50 all the scores start to jump which in turn pushes you down out of it. Now I am nowhere near the top 50.

Trouble is if we stop playing when they delete all the fake scores, who knows how high the real scores are. I would just carry on playing at the same rate as before and hope that they sort this out sooner rather than later.

Promoters should not use online games with scoreboards to effect entry to a competition. There will always be someone who will try to beat the system.

The prize in this comp is obviously a motivating factor. They should just make it a simple draw for all players.

    Hope they sort it out.

    Dear ASX Gamer,

We have become aware of the 'unusual' increase in scores achieved by certain individuals playing the ASX Challenge Game recently.

We can see that foul play is at work - and as such we have temporarily suspended game play while our investigations are concluded. We believe this is the most appropriate action to take for all those of you who have been fairly competing for prizes and top scores.

Anyone who has gained points by unfair methods will be identified and permanently eliminated and blocked from all future game play. At the same time, those who have been playing fairly will retain their league position as at the moment the game was frozen and will not be disadvantaged in any way. We will inform all players once we have concluded our investigations and when the game is back online, which we hope to be very soon.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this causes and can assure you that Mitsubishi Motors will not tolerate any unfair play in the "Mitsubishi ASX Challenge" game.
Our thanks for your ongoing support and involvement.

    Kind Regards,

    Mitsubishi Motors
