Center Parcs Promotion codes

I know this because a few families and us go to CP as a group and at times one family organises it and at other times another family does it. every time I have been we have been under a different surname but used the code and surname from the previous visit.
At one point three of the families organized separate holidays, at separate times all of them using the same code. This was queries with center parcs before booking (to avoid nasty surprises) and they said it was perfectly ok.
I know this, we have done it too and we have also booked more than one holiday using the CBSOON deal. but as apples1 says:Thats not the same as taking a name and booking ref from a complete stranger and using it on CBS though.
I have heard of far worse things thoughI'm sure I remember a discussion about whether someone could smuggle their granny into center parcs in the boot of their car so they wouldn't have to pay for a bigger villa.....

I have not been for years ( cannot afford it these days) but when we used to go, CP not really interested in names and numbers of who goes, as long as you do not exceed the maximum number of people the accommodation is for.
So usually a 3 bed villa sleeps 6, 2 bed sleeps 4, 1 bed sleeps 2 etc
If you originally booked for 5, and are now taking an extra person - that is fine.
I think, if you are taking a very young child, who will be sleeping in a cot, then they can be in addition to the 6 people occupying beds.
In the past we have even swapped over occupants.
So 2 of the 6 left half way through the week, and 2 grandparents joined us for the rest of the week - at no extra cost.
You would have to inform CP of this, as I think you still have to register everyone and all cars etc with them......due to Health & Safety/Fire Regs and Insurance reasons I would think.
I always used to find CP staff v helpful, so you could always give them a ring to check if it puts your mind at ease.
Hope you enjoy anyway, we had some fantastic family holidays there.... in the good old days when we had money!;)0 -

Again from when I last went, you just turn up and swim.
Once you are within CP, you must have paid to be there, and you should have registered ALL members of your party ( you do not have to all have the same surname for example)
You just go and swim.
Always busiest in pool area on change-over days of Monday and Friday as people leaving that day pack up and vacate their villa. Then park the car, and can still use ALL the facilities at CP for the rest of the day.
Plus new arrivals can turn up at say 10am, park car, then use all the facilities for the whole day.... but cannot usually go and unload at their villa until after 3 it used to be.
This gives cleaning staff time to get in and clean in between each booking.
So, the swimming dome 'could' have double the load of people in, although I don't think it does, as some people shoot off home first thing if they have to travel long distances, whilst others are playing Badminton, having that last round of golf, up at the country club etc.
Last time I went, CP tried to discourage new arrivals from going in the swimming area the first 'arrival' morning, to prevent this 'double' occupancy, but there certainly were no checks, or way of identifying who were the people leaving that day, and who were the new arrivals...... unless CP have introduced a new system.
In which case hopefully someone should be along soon to correct my out-of-date information.
We always went into the swimming area on our first arrival morning, and no one knew we were the new arrivals, or stopped us.
Again, give CP a ring and just ask them.
If they have say introduced a wrist band system now, so all members of your party now have to wear a coloured wrist band, just inform CP that instead of the 5 people you originally said were coming, there will now be 6, and they will amend their details and presumably have 6 wristbands waiting for you..... but they never used to do that.
You pay for the 3 bed villa or whatever.
You will be paying the same price if there is 6 people going, or 5, or 4 or 3 or just 2 of you. So it makes no difference to them how many come..... as long as you don't exceed the maximum for your villa, and that you have registered ALL members of your party
Although I think in the European CPs they do price things on number of people.
If your stay is imminent, you will have received a whole pack of stuff from CP, so give that a thorough read before you arrive.
If it is your first time, there is a load to take in.
What time different things open and close, how to book activities, what time things are on (such as free kids entertainment) etc
There are lots of things you can pre-book, such as bikes, football tournaments etc which saves time on the arrival day, and makes sure your kids gets to do the things they want while they are there.
Nothing worse than finding everything you had planned to do is now already full when you turn up to book on your second morning.
To be honest, first day is just arriving and unpacking and settling in, unless you are old hands and organised so you can 'hit the ground running'
First timers are wondering around with maps and awed expressions as they try to find their bearings, and are 'Oooohing' and 'Aaarhing' at everything.
Re Discount Codes
CP stopped doing those about 6 years ago....unfortunately.
I think the only discounts now are for people who have just been to CP already this year, and book to go again within a short window of time. They ask for details of your earlier booking so they can double check you are not booking using a code issued to your mate, that is actually was YOU who went at Easter.
Unless anyone comes along and says this has changed now.....:cool:0 -
Thanks for your help
Our problem is that we are taking an extra child which means we need a 4 bed but they have sold out so I really do not know what I am going to do :-(I love a Bargain :beer:0 -
Unfortunately if that's the case then you cannot take the extra child. Your only option would be to ring CP and change the date of the booking to when a 4 bedroom lodge is available.0
