I think our hols start just before the English hols so maybe will hold off until Easter and take the chance.
Are the Lodges all on ground level ?? ... I noticed a review had mentioned they were on the upper floor apartment with balcony which I thought was odd ??

The main lodges are either single storey or two storey depending on the size of the lodge and its location. None of them have balconies, but do have patio areas with a barbecue.

The review you read may have been about a Lakeside apartment.

Still trying to decide if i will book centerparcs now or wait until nearer the time!!
There is almost £200 difference between the comfort lodges and the new woodland ... does anyone think it is worthwhile paying the extra £200 or would the basic one be fine??
Its totally doing my head in wondering if I should wait for a code for July or just go ahead and book .........

Think it's worth the extra not to have a "comfort" villa. Anything but comfortable in our experience! Never been to Butlins but they are what I imagine Butlins villas to be like. We go at cheaper times and use the extra to have a better villa. We have gone for executive rather than woodland as executive was cheaper. They are not "executive" in any way shape or form but are perfectly good comfortable accomodation unlike the "comfort" ones whoch are old and basic to the point I would rather stay at home. Not complaining - we learnt the hard way about the villa. Now we have it sussed we love Centre Parcs breaks!

What about the new style woodland lodge ?? Have the booking up at the minute! Quite a few now showing limited availability so think will have to book without a code as going for full week - Mon to Mon.

Also on checking out there is a priority pack for £99 which includes 2 adult bike hire, welcome pack, 2 spa vouchers (for Fri /Mon), £10 parc market voucher...... might be worthwhile as couldnt transport bikes for 5 of us!

What about area then .... do we go with what we are given or do we choose ??? Beechwood / Forresters Lane / seven pines / three oaks / Lake Beck!!!!!

I think for my sanity I should just book and then I can forget about it until near the time =). I am a total disaster making these decisions.

  • I personally look at location on the park rather than villa type. For me it is important to be close to the pool because that is where we spend most of our time.

Also you start off thinking that Comfort is cheap and then start adding premiums to get closer to the 'action' and actually Executive then seems like a good deal.

You also tend to get more bathrooms in Executive which is good if you are all trying to get ready at the same time

    I thinking about July too.
I've noticed that the codes tend to be midweek or weekend only. Do they also work on a full week or would I have to do two seperate bookings: assuming a code does appear.

Are there any Centreparc codes around for May Half-term (midweek) 2009? I'm wanting a 3 bed comfort villa (cheapest) which I'll pay the £30 extra to be in a middle area! I'm taking my 2 kids (3 & 5) and my mum (over 55)

None of the codes I've seen so far seem to work!
