Thurs 22nd April - What small DFW things have you done today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Goooood morning lovelies

Feeling a little better again today....hopefull it'll keep improving for the weekend;)
Another quiet day.....I'm used to those:o Waiting for my Asda direct delivery - new table and chairs for the garden, a lovely lie-back seat for me, for the garden, a dustbin (exciting) and new pillows:)
So, time for coffee now
Get DD2 off to school, bless her the only one of us 3 going out early this week!
List time:
Cleosmum - glad to hear the boss has calmed down a bit:p
Catmiaow - congrats on the engagement - what a birthday surprise!

Morning All,
Lovely bright morning here (an I am not just talking about the weather)
I have come to a HUGE decision: - when I leave work tonight, I am going to register as self employed so I can legally do mystery shopping!
I have been going through this in my mind for about a week, but now I have started the ball rolling, I best continue with it.
So, today I have/will:
• Need to price up stationary
• Need to design a spreadsheet which I can use to track the money
• Need to register on the tax homepage
• Need to look at a bank account to use
• Need to set up an alternative email account
As well as the usual:
• Meals from storecupboards
• Charged my phone up while I drive to/from work
• Need to sow seeds for veggies (a bit late I know, but fingers crossed)
• Need to water veggies which are looking a bit sorry for themselves
• Need to do surveys/daily scratches
• Definite NSD as I have £5 left in my account until tomorrow
• Need to check my lottery numbers (you never know!)
• Apply for any roles which I think might be suitable for me
• Need to clear out my inbox
• Need to check Quidco
• Need to call up to get an update on one of my debts
• Get on with work rather than thinking of my outside activities
• Have an early night as I am a bit tired
Think that is about it, sorry I have not been around for the past couple of months…..I leave home at 6:45 and don’t get home til 18:30 – this job is no good for my social life.
I do think of you all regularly and it is a shame that I can not always post every day.
Hugs to you all and hello to all new members.

Today I will
- check banks

- make my packed lunch
- post eBay items
- update MSE diary
- plan budget for trip to London
- buy more cling film for lunches
That's two spend days in a row
Oh well maybe tomorrow and both spends are less than £5 in total. Must be a good thing? Sealed Pot Challenge #9550
