DD and I planted our seeds this morning so we now have parsnips, carrots, leeks, broccoli, french beans and broccoli planted as well as the pepper plants and tomoato plant that have already germinated. DD was filthy and [STRIKE]drowned[/STRIKE] watered them in with her new watering can so that was her happy and the seed trays are now in the mini greenhouse in the alcove upstairs.

DW has gone to the menders as a second hand condenser was going to cost the thick end of £150.00 and with so many of us in the house and no washing line its a necessity rather than a luxury!

No idea what's for dinner - I feel rather sleepy!

    Afternoon everyone

Thanks for all your good wishes for my DS2. It was better than expected, they didn't attempt to go near him with any needles and managed to calm him right down before they gave him the gas. They took 4 teeth out, he was complaining when he came round about the pain but has brightened up considerably now we are home. He is not allowed to go to school tomorrow as he had an anaestectic, so will be at my parents(I really can't take any more time off).

Not much os yet apart from a load of washing been hung out. Need to redo my wedding invites due to putting wrong date on which was my fault. Will try and cut the grass later and do a bit of weeding and think I had better clean my car out before the weekend as going to watch the Marathon on Sunday.

Diva - Hope you are feeling better
Ladygrim - Thinking of you and your family.
Hilstep - It does sound like your DD has the 3rd day baby blues, hope she feels better soon.
Lowesy - good news re the flights for your DS.
Molly41 - Glad you are feeling a little better. My DS1(19) bedroom I now just close the door and refuse to go in, he has to live in the tip and I don't wash anything that is not the basket now.

Enjoy the rest of your afternoon, hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care.

Well what a performance, the plumber came to put in an outside tap and plumb in the dishwasher, no probs with the dishwasher.......tap....well thats another story.......we know where the stop !!!! for the house is, behind the washing machine, just sticking up above where the popes have been boxed in.... outside tap fitted, test.oooopppppssss its leaking in the cupboard under the sink, new pipe needed trip to Haddington, pipe fitted, tested it outside, it was leaking and the force of the water blew the connection off the hose, no way could he get it tight enout, it was squirting all over the place. Another trip to Haddington for a brass one......bingo it worked. Plumber said he could not believe the pressure from the mains, I have a feeling its to do with the fact that the pig sheds and stables need high pressure water for various reasons.

We now have a working tap outside, I watered part of the garden and managed to get the clematis out of its pot and into the ground, the root ball was huge and had wound itself round in the pot, I had to pull some of it off, there are lots of shoots so I am hoping its going to be alright, gave it a good drink. Just cooking sausage and mash for supper.

    Ladygrim......hope evrything went well today.
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

    Afternoon all,

My brain is kaput, done too much thinking today :rotfl:. Sorry not read thread so ((hugs)) to those in need especially Ladygrim.

Good day at work, went to beach in afternoon and kids played football, paddled and jumped in sand dunes. My assistant is back from spain so have spent last hour catching her up on everything (hence the no brain now!)

Going to sit on balcony in sun with cuppa before I contemplate anything else.

    Hi all.

Didn't think I was going to get onto this thread today.... been busy catching up with Flylady tasks, after being out all day Tuesday. *rolleyes*

Still, I'm finally caught up now, thankfully.:o

Got to start dins in a moment; we have some root veg that want using; Mr LW cut them into chunks last night and put them in salt water, so we'll have them with some veggie sausages.

Main reason for ensuring I did post today - Ladygrim I hope the day has gone as well as possible for you, and send you a gently Wolfy (((HUG))).

My thoughts are with you Ladygrim, take care of yourself.

Had quite a good day at work - went with some of the children at school for a K'Nex challenge and one of our pairs won!! Will now have to go to the national finals. Didn't have time to come home before my volunteer shift at the hospice so a busy 2 hours there trying to help in the kitchen. Think sometimes I am more of a hinderance!!

Rushed to pick DD up from work and we both came in starving. Fresh cod and some sauteed veg for tea, very tasty and I feel a lot better now.

Washing on rack as it has been a bit showery here. 'Welcome to Lagos' on soon, quite enjoyed it last week.

    Best wishes all.

    Evening!

LameWolf, good to see you lovey, hope you're OK.

Diva hope the sickieness has passed and you're starting to build your strength

LadyG I hope the sun shone today. X

Topsy glad your boy is OK

Bitsy what weight was your DS when he was born? I ask because I see that Noah was 11lb as were my two, and I have this theory about ASD and big birth weights / boys being "big for their age". Every child I know personally with ASD has been a big birthweight baby, and/or tall for his age, wondering if it extends to you, too. I wonder if anyone else has ever made the connection, or if it's all in my mind!:rotfl::rotfl:Probably the latter!

I am well and truly fed up today, TOTM and feeling grotty, my car is making the strangest noise, which I think is the bearings, but I hope is nothing more serious, as we don't have much money spare til next week, and OH's car needs service, MOT, tax etc. Wish we'd had enough money when the Scrappage Scheme was on to upgrade me.:(

Right, enough of the poor me's. Tomorrow I am going to take advantage of the forums being down, and actually do some housework! I want to paint the playroom, and the hall, so will scrub all the paintwork and wash my floors. Or I may read my Prima..................no, no, housework!

Thanks for all the good wishes and hugs, am feeling much more like myself (really!!), and beginning to see a way forward.

Hugs to everyone else who feels the need, in fact let's have a dodgy hug!:grouphug:
