    Morning!

It will be a quickie from me this morning. Tired today, didn't sleep well at all last night :( and I have eyes like my neighbours Bassett Hound! W8rk today, then DS2 has footie practice, but someone else is doing the run today, so DS1 and I will take a nice big long walk with Cocopops. Soup for dinner (I seem to say that everyday but although I make it, it gets frozen or givn away to MIL) with HM rolls I think, and then cleaning the tip that has accumulated in the boys' playroom, it's blinking awful, and I would like to emulsion it this weekend so need to sort it out!

Be back later, have a good day all.

Hugs to Ladygrim and Diva for their own reasons, LadyG I hope the sun shines upon you today.

Ladygrim Hope you find the strength to get through today x
    Molly41 :wave:Feeling any better today?
Diva hope you are recouperating well

I woke at 4:45am and gave some serious thought to getting up and how much I could get done without anyone else awake.....then I though about how cosy the duvet felt and how toasty warm I was....and that was the last thought until 7:20am :D

No jobs today (well just some phone calls to price a car service...can't call it strenuous) so I have lots of things around the house to get on with. DH put up my little plastic 'fake' greenhouse yesterday which we have put in the window alcove at the top of the stairs for the sun. Will re-pot the peppers today and plant the other seeds I bought with DD - she has a new watering can and is busting to use it!

Need a meal plan/shopping list and to go shopping or order online so we have food before the weekend.

Got everything DS-D needs for her weekend away yesterday and got DD some new clothes from Prim@rk and got DD and DS-S some lovely things half-price from Mr A.

Right need to get some painkillers into me so I can funtion!

    Have a good day x

MSD - still thinking of you, hope you're feeling better
Ladygrim - hope today goes as well as it can bless you xx
Topsy - hope your DS is ok today

Well good ish news folks - after much badgering and haranguing we've managed to get my sister and her friend onto a flight on the 6th of May! Still two weeks away but much better than the 17th. Just need to keep on at them every day and see if any cancellation comes up. My plan is to make them so sick of our case that they put them on the next flight home first class ;):D and I can be very annoying when I want to be so it might just work

Also second piece of good news - my neck is much much better today :j haven't woken up in pain am just a bit stiff. Just as well really as I have a driving lesson tomorrow and I don't want to miss that! Yesterday I don't think I would've been able to look both ways let alone check a blind spot...

OS today need to change the bedclothes and put them in the WM. Will also make a chilli for tea tonight with a salad on the side, will make double though and freeze half.

Must get on, hugs to all in need/want xx

Morning everybody,I've not posted for a while as I've had computer probs, still have as its running really slow, and it won't let me defrag, but I have been reading when I can,so I'd just like to offer my sincere condolences to Ladygrim, and hugs for today.

Also.get well wishes to Diva, and Pen PIn.

Taplady, aaah,we spent many childhood holidays in Barmouth :)

OS has been consisting of cooking from scratch, sewing and crochet.Finished my baby quilt, although the baby has nt made an appearance yet. When DS2 saw it,he was quite impressed, and asked if I'd do another for a baby due to some friends of his.As it happens,I have a piece of the white fleece backing left ;).
My next project is a patchwork bag, been having fun searching out the different fabrics needed.

DS1 seems to have settled into his new job OK,and he's got his car back .He admits its easier on the train, but never gets up in time to catch it!

Tea will be something out of the freezer,as its pretty full.Need to make a loaf today as well.Ironing is up to date!!!! I seem to have got a lot more done (and kept tidier) since DS1 started back at work.We have to take the hound to the vets for his annual check this afternoon- they let us in at the back door to avoid unseemly incidents with other animals in the waiting room- he's so big they seem to take fright, especially as he makes a din when we get in,:o but he really is a gentle giant.

    Take care everybody.x

    Morning all

    Hope everyone is well.

Despite all my exertions yesterday I still couldn't sleep despite being exhausted so had to take half a pill. Both my daughter and I slept in today. Whoops! She got dressed in record time and wasn't late. Thankfully we live three doors down from the school and the noise of everyone walking past to get to school woke us up.

The plumber came yesterday so my spare toilet now flushes and the boiler is a little less temperamental. Today handyman is coming over to fix a new back door, secure the back windows and fix the front window that doesn't open. It's a rented house so I'm not footing the bill otherwise we would be living off beans on toast for the next three months!

Afterwards arranged to meet a friend to go to a pub by the green for a shandy or something. It's been years since I sat in a beer garden, really looking forward to it.

Hope everyone has a fantastically good day!

Morning all...............((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.

    Thinking of Ladygrim today............

Boy its cold this morning, I have not been out yet but my nose says it cold. OH says that its down to 6 and the wind has changed direction coming from the south east so blowing the ash the other way.

The plumber coometh this morning to put in the outside tap and fix the dishwasher, not looking forward to the bill £150!!! the plumbing in this house, like the rest of it, is quirky to say the least.

I put a load of laundry on the delay timer last night, so it finished at 8.30, need to get it on the line for a bit of a blow.

OH in the garden, still digging out the red hot pokers in the front, K wants us to plant some under the ehdge on the other side of the road!!! might just chuck a couple of the tubers over there.

Supper tonight sausage and mash...............the plumber is here, time to go!!!
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

Toothpaste, has anyone noticed how expensive it is? Most of Asda's own brands had gone up to £1 ! that's about 100% increase, what's that all about?
