Has anyone been charged twice this month with tiscali/talk talk?

Have been with tiscali for several years now, had a letter through earlier this year about upgrading my package but it would enter me on a new contract which I didn't want.
Last months bill was as normal, but just checked this month (not sure why as I never check it due to it being the same amount each time) to find they have charged me £28.xx - it states BB 1/3/10-31/3/10- - 1/4/10-3-/4/10, so I thought maybe talk talk changed the way they billed, checked March invoice and it shows £14.xx BB 1/3/10-31/3/10 so they've charged me for March twice??
Going to ring them in the morning, just wondered if this has happened to anyone else and if so did they get a reason for it?
Would change but our phone lines are rubbish (only get just over 1mb if we are lucky) so it's not really worth it.

One charge is for the old package (could be Tiscali Max Unlimited plus Free Weekend Talk II) the other is with the new package (talktalk Broadband plus Free Evening & Weekend Talk)
This was pro-rata and somewhere on the bill shouild be the statement
Correction for product changes Broadband - Tiscali Max Unlimited plus Free Weekend Talk II - £ credit amount
ALSO, talktalk had billing problems last month where some people were not charged, so check your bank statement.

I have spoken to them this morning, I only get BB no calls inluded and never have done, it's because I wont sign up to a new 18mth contract so they have increased it to the standard 19.99 per month rather then 14.99 which I could pay if I did take a new contract - advised as we only get 1mb even though package is up to 8mb due to our phone lines I can get it cheaper then 19.99 have been a customer for about 7 years now but they weren't bothered about keeping me so now looking out for another provider!0

They did the same thing to me. I was paying £12.98 for just BB and couldn't take their new 'improved' rate of £14.99 including calls because I have a contract with BT.
They bumped me up to £19.99 pro rata.
The only problem was that I had already switched to another provider (O2). Never-the-less, TalkTalk just kept charging me for another two months.
After two weeks on O2 Access I threw in the towel and cancelled that under the terms of their 30 day 'Happiness Guarantee'. Low and behold, O2 then billed me for a full year's subscription... because I'd cancelled within 12 months.
I must admit that dealing with O2 customer services was painless, it's a pity that their product is not fit for purpose. In contrast, dealing with TalkTalk was one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. I will never, ever, have anything to do with them again.

Talk talk are really awful with their CS, I have been on the phone again but it looks like I will have to cancel as like you am under contract with BT and TT won't budge on anything.0
