    DVLA are open 8am to 8.30pm to speak to so ring them! You could have had the answer by now! Delaying it won't do anything. The people who answer the phone honestly do not care about the circumstances/excuses they will just tell you where you stand and what you owe and need to do next.

    If you are not driving car and it is off road then make a SORN application asap by sending off form V890 rather than taxing. Form is available online or from porst office.
