car garage hourly rate?

Local garages = £40-£50

Dealerships = £70-£90

The prestige marks (or German taxi's as I like to call them), as mentioned above they charge stupid money because only stupid/lazy people buy their cars and take them back to dealerships.

I know my mates Merc was £800 to service and that's NOT including parts, so £800 for labour and stamp ink.

In my town in East Yorks the labour rates vary between £30/hr (local garage) to £80/hr (Citroen dealer). Surprisingly the Citroen dealer is quite busy, busy enough to have to double the size of their workshop for the second time in the last few years.
