I HAVE BEEN WITH TALKTALK FOR A LONG TIME, YESTERDAY FOR SOME REASON I KEEP GETTING SOMETHING THAT LOOK LIKE MICROSOFT, BUT IT KEEP ASKING ME TO CLICK ON THEY SYSTEM TO REMOVE VIRUS, I KNEW THAT THIS WAS NOT RIGHT, BECAUSE I PAY TALKTALK FOR ONLINE SECURITY, SO I SOULD NOT GET VIRUS, I CAN NOT USE MY COMPUTER BECAUSE THE MESSAGE KEEP COMING UP, I CALL TALKTALK TODAY THIS MORNING, AND WAS GIVEN TECH SUPPORT LINE 2 TO HELP, THE MAN ON THE LINE SAID THAT I SHOULD HAVE UPDATE MY SECURITY, I TOLD HIM THAT I AM ALREADY WITH TALKTALK SECURITY, AND THAT I NEVER GOT ANY MESSAGE TELL ME TO UPDATE MY SECURITY, I AM SO SO ANNOYED, WITH TALKTALK, BECAUSE I AM NOT ABLE TO USE MY COMPUTER DUE TO THIS VIRUS, THEY HAVE BEEN TAKE MY MONEY FOR MONTHS, I AWAYS CHECK ON BOTTOM OF MY COMPUTER TO SEE IF THE SECURITY IS ON, AND IT IS ON!!!!!! NOW I GOT TO WAIT TILL TOMMORROW TO SEE IF THE NEW SECURITY HAS LOADED...... AND SEE IF IT HAS DELETE THIS VIRUS, OR LESS I HAVE TO PAY SOMEONE TO REMOVE IT. I AM VERY ANGRY!!!!!!!!!

SO ANYONE WITH TALKTALK SECUIRTY PLEASE CHECK TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE UPDATED WITH LATEST SECURITY

No antivirus software is 100% effective.
Why don't you download Microsoft Security Essentials, free, a decent AV and Anitmalware programme.
Ditto with Malwarebytes Antimalware.
Then post a log file from hijack this, all very theraputic.

This issue is happenin to a lot of people at the moment. They load a website they would normally load and get a popup telling them there is a security threat. It then diverts you to a page which looks like a Microsoft Windows page carrying out a very quick virus check. In fact it is not doing that it is just a website that has loaded. Unsure as to whether it is a virus or not I would assume it is. My antivirus and spyware software have not been able to pick it up either. It doesn't appear to be anything that causes massive damage to your PC but hopefully you can get rid of it. I can't see Talk Talk being much help if their antivirus is not finding it either it looks like you may need to investigate it online. Unfortunately Talk Talk can not be held responsible for any viruses you do get on your PC.
