Good evening diary!

A mixed day, had to take dad to his pre-bypass op this morning so a wasted morning sat around in a hospital, still no confirmed date either, probably early November. Just something else to worry about.
As always always longer than planned at the hospital so late back and late into work this afternoon. Typical today is the day the boss comes to sit down and talk about time keeping!
Well not much can do about that! My general time keeping isnt bad, just not that good at getting up early in the morning, oops!:o Had a moan about the whole work situation in general though so not sure if anything will happen about the stress and everything, just watch this space!
Money wise managed to sit down with OH (although reluctantly cos he was tired, but has enough energy to do his own bits ).
Managed an overpayment of £500 to CC4 so that brings the total now down to a reasonable sum and hope to pay of the whole amount next month which will be fab as then 2 CC's will have been cleared so far!
Also managed to transfer over £300 to me, not sure which CC to pay it off now. CC3 is on 0% interest for another few months so really should pay it of CC1 to avoid incurring any more interest. But am self sabotaging myself I think because wanting to get rid of CC3 quickly as well then only the one left to concentrate all my efforts on.
CC1 is the largest of all the debts, but this account is also in the process of being closed due to me declining an interest rate hike. Just frustrating that cant seem to pay this one off as quick as I would like it! Have been good and snowballed the other debts with the interest rates accordingly.
Maybe its more of an incentive to see another debt hit the dust!
Worked out its another 3 paydays until the end of the year so trying to work out what can achieve by then.
Approx £800 from OH and £450 from me = £1250 per month.
So should clear CC4 and CC3 easily and have £2,260 remaining on CC1 and £9611 on the car left.
Not going to worry about the car so much just need to find that extra £2,260 somehow. Looking back sure didnt have this much to pay by the end of the year, so frustrating that the figure has seemed to have gone up
Not much I can do now, just need to try and learn from it and move on somehow!:)Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Ok £2,260 to find now.....
So £300 found already as didnt factor that into my original figures oops!
So £1,960 to find........
Have approx £100 this month (in theory) left over to be put towards overpayments.
Ebay - got a lot I can ebay so seeing if I can put a real effort into clearing this and get things sold before Xmas - hoping to raise say £250
Still do Daily Clicks etc so hoping to raise approx £25 from that.
Nearly at £40 payout from one poll - so close yet so far away!
Not going to count survey earnings as they come in regularly but use those on the whole for vouchers for Xmas and Birthdays and haven't got a budget for these so really need to keep these aside for this. (Luckily have been good and bought various items throughout the year so have a well stocked present box so in theory 76% of Xmas should be covered).
So total of prospective earnings is £675
Still leaves a balance of £1,585:(
Hmmmm, not good......
Possibly can increase ebay sales, may be able to fine tune more bits somehow but am running out of stuff to sell, not sure what I can get for OH! :rotfl:
There is a possibility of an Xmas bonus (we did get one last year....I blew it on a TV....but our TV had broken....so maybe we didnt need the better model) so not discounting that so that may be £500 ish, but not a certain.
If I do count this bonus....then still £1k to find:eek:
I know I can always pay this of after Xmas, but really want to put the overpayment money used now towards paying of the car finance early as come Feb/March will be looking towards a mortgage.
Oh just not sure what to do...!

Sunday evening musings!

Just looking at budget for this month......
Budget:-
£40 Mobile
£150 CC1 Min Payment
£150 Vet
£50 Fuel
£50 Misc Spends
Total £440
Actual:-
£37.76 Mobile
£148.79 CC1 Min Payment
£115 Vet
£42 Fuel
£52.28 Misc Spends
Total £395.83
Total gain £44.17
Still early days for this month and I have already spent all my misc spends! oops, so need to have another look and see what else may arise during the rest of the month.
Have £44.17 surplus to budget, £10 from paypal and £19.35 from business mileage expenses so total of £73.52 this month as "spare money".
Think I will budget £23.52 (just to round it up!) as misc spends and have the £50 as an overpayment :j
Should still have £86 left at the end of the month too as an overpayment so that really helps me, as they say all little helps.
Unfortunately it has been an expensive weekend for the OH as we have been dog sitting for his bro and the dog managed to kill its bed last night, 11 month old lab..need I say any more
, so he has bought a new bed today and some chew toys to keep her happy. We also went out for a chinese last night to catch up with some friends, so good for the social side unfortunately not for the finances so will need to rejig his budget in the next few days although I think the money will go onto CC4.
Just seems in with one hand and out with the other! Must be strict for the rest of the month.
Still have shed loads of food in the house and plenty of fuel so should be fine in this sense.
Have also just listed a few more things onto ebay and need to make this week to motivate myself to get the camera out and take photos of the last few bits.
Just need to find that motivation from somewhere! :rotfl:Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Sunday evening musings again.....
Updated signature, slowly and surely going in the right direction, unfortunately not as much as I would like unfortunately
Plans....... Outstanding debt £5,822 as of today (not including car finance, although important not worrying about this one too much!)
£1200 on debt repayments each month - 3 paydays left so £3,600 payments so £2,222 to find.
£20 transferred from paypal tonight and another £15 made tonight on ebay.
Think can make another £200 ish hopefully before Xmas (if round up to £215 so say £250).
£40 due out very shortly on one poll as only matter of pennies before payout.
So have £1,932 to find  mmmmmmmm......
I have £265 left in my current account as of tonight, due out before next payday...
£12 for extra horse food (yay hes eating :j and vet doesnt need to see him for another 6 months)
£40 for food (need fresh fruit etc but nothing else, storecupboards are full)
Have an engagement party on the 23rd, have plenty of fuel and already sent a card, dont need to get a pressie so just drinks so prob around £15 - £20 as I will be driving so soft for me and just a few for OH so in theory shouldnt need to spend more than £100 over the course of the month.
That should leave me with an extra £150 for over payments:T which will bring total needed to find of £1,782.
Will have to have some extra thinking...!:(
Sorry for the long post...just helps to get it all written down somewhere!

Hello Campers!
A slightly more interesting post tonight, rather than my it seems endless drivel on which penny goes where!
A fine (well if you can call it that
) Monday at work! Had the "big sit down" with the boss and my pay is being reviewed.
They have agreed to put it back up to 90% (rather than the 75% we are currently on) woohoo!
But they were making out so much that its is so great that I am getting my pay back, heellllllllloooooo only being 2 jobs worth for 6 months for not even one persons pay and you want me to kiss your !!! to say thanks for giving me some back! :rotfl:
Well I suppose its better than nothing. They were suggesting at also a pay rise (poss £1k) in the next few months if my timekeeping improves. Yes I admit to getting in between 8.30 and 9, when I should start at 8.30, but am rubbish at getting out of bed in the morning, could sleep for Britain! So need to try and improve that somehow  But the pay rise was only suggested so it came across as a bit of bribery so not impressed at all with that one
Will have to see what my pay will be reinstated to as cant find the sheet where it was mentioning the pay at different percentages so will have to wait and see and then will have to re-organise my budget (again). Sure you guys are all very bored with my budget management, but I admit, I am carp, thats why I have debt, and need to get myself sorted once and for all, somehow! :cool:Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Evening all out there in cyber world!

Managed to have a fairly good day and not spend a penny YAY! Am not signed up to the NSD challenge but write it down everyday what small things I do etc so have been keeping a check on myself and come up with these figures. The NSD doesnt include direct debits etc that are coming out of bank, but does include all other spends, e.g. getting cash out, using any money in wallet etc etc.
March 19 days
April 13 days
May 20 days
June 17 days
July 16 days
August 19 days
September 14 days (could have been better but was away)
Am an target for another 10 or so days at least for October so super pleased with the progress :j:j Cant imagine how much carp I was spending on before!
Dont like coffee so used to spend money on choccie and toiletries, think have enough shampoo and moisturiser to last another few years yet
On other good news (for a change there is loads
) I have managed to find my pay details so looks like with my pay going back up to 90% it should mean an extra £185 nett each month
On carp news worked out over the 2 years I have had my paycut I have lost out on £4k:eek: Kind of helps my state of mind and am sure it hasnt help to contributed to the debt situation, as was spending my full pay, oops!:o
Well am going to treat this £185 a month as "over payments" as have managed to budget so far on the reduced pay so that is approx another £600 of my big total that I need to find so I can become debt free before the end of the year!

Woohoo!

£20 received from paypal today from weekends ebay sales which has been transferred across to CC1 which takes my total down to under £4k.:D
Also brings my total debt down to just under £16k
Feels really good about such a small milestone reached! Still a long way to go though.......
Total now excluding car finance is £5,767.69 which is so much better than I thought I would do!
Since 15 July I have managed to pay off £5,297.86! :j I know most of this was the van we sold but we have had lots of expenses including big unexpected vet bills so am so pleased right now!
Parents were sorting out stuff today to be thrown out and have managed to rescue a few games to ebay and also managed to find 25p in pennies which were being used in an old board game! Only small amounts but as Tesco says every little helps! :rotfl:
Bank stands at £250.52 and have food shop tomorrow (hoping say £50 max) and will try only to use £50 extra for the rest of the month for any misc extras (engagement party etc) so can put another £200 over by the end of the month, fingers crossed!Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Hmmm...all good intentions and that!
£100 spent on shopping but have loads and loads so shouldnt need any freezer stuff for 6 weeks and fridge stuff for 2 weeks and have loads of bits like soup etc for lunch to last ages. Also bought a load of cheap tights as cheap as chips in sainsburys so will last a while.
Means now only have £150 left to last till next payday (in theory 22nd).
Should only need to spend £25 ish so should still be on track to make a big over payment, just need to make the next week NSD days!
£1.37 coming from Quidco and 15p away from payout on OnePoll and another few 99p bids on ebay so getting there slowly!:D
Still lots more to go onto ebay, think I need to sit down and actually start listing them!:rotfl:Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

YAY £40 payout reached on One Poll
Starting again now and up to 35p, could be this time next year before payout again!:rotfl:
Off out shopping tomoz with sis ready for baby dedication party, have enough clothes so must be able to find something to wear, maybe just a bit of jewellery to change it a bit, have a £10 M&S voucher and just try not to spend anything else, must keep thinking of the over payments I could make! :cool:Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Woop woop sold our big sideboard on ebay, so another £30 to add to my debt repayment and another few 99p bits so all adds up!

Mum is happy too as helps declutter her house ready for the move!
Spent slightly more than planned yesterday as bought some new underwear and a new top, but had some vouchers so only spent £12 hard cash and top will go with everything so not as bad as I thought it may be, phew
OH is working away next week so that will help with the budget as all his meals get paid for so will be able to stretch the groceries a lot further, yay
Nothing anything else very exciting so will go sign off now before I bore everyone :rotfl:Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
