Hi guys, I've sold my family home and know the area we wish to move to. The stipulation on the sale is that we need to vacate by the end of June as the buyers have an expiring mortgage offer... However, we have viewed most of the available property in our target area and nothing quite fits the bill. So we'll find somewhere…

I would try leafletting in the right circumstances. But in your circumstances I think that I would plan to rent in the area from early June. It is getting too close to the deadline to raise a useful sale in this way. By the very nature of leafletting, you will find people who have not got their own plans fully in place, so they will have to find somewhere and you can look at perhaps another 6 weeks before you have an accepted offer with people who have their own offer in place.
