You're welcome young lady. Trust it all works for you.
Don't wish to start a multi-utility thread here - but you can't pay for your TV licence at the PO since 31/7 ?? Not going to look it up -'cos need to get some work done - but I think you'll find it's only the quarterly DD that's more expensive? The monthly DD works out exactly the same as the one-off cost - but you're paying 6 months up front - and 6 in arrears, in order to negate any charges. From memory, they wean you onto the 6 months up front over the first year. But it might better suit your situation? If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
thanks Mikeyorks, I will look into it in more detail. I can easily reinstate the DD if it is the cheapest option.
Best wishes0 -
Needed a break from the other work. And decided to sit at the PC as it looks over the back of the house .. and we've suddenly acquired a visiting badger who arrives in about 10 mins to eat the hedgehog food. Lovely to watch - but he's definitely put the hedgehogs off visiting.
Anyway - doing a quick search whilst waiting :

Confirmation TV licensing have just severed links with PO - and appear to have aligned with PayPoint instead. Bit odd after all these years they've been tied up. Remember once watching PO process all their cheques (DVLA / Gas / Elec / TV etc etc) overnight at a site in the Barbican. Bit yawny by 0400hrs in the morning - but a fascinating process to watch:rolleyes:

Prices for DD - confirming the quarterly one attracts a small premium - but the monthly is plain rate - but you need to get to the point where you're paying 6 months advance / 6 in arrears. So - memory still works !
Trust it helps. Back to badger waiting. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Thanks again for your help. I will reinstate DD as I was paying monthly so getting the best rate. Must speak to misinformed friend too!!
You are lucky to have a badger to watch. They are incredible animals. I have a fox family that I feed and a field with lots of deer crossing every evening just beyond my garden. Oh, country life! Love it!0
