Travelodge Complaint - Help Please!!

That's from the original post. The later poster was subject to a theft when they were out of the room.
But still relevant; as would be to say that having to write in is nonsense; I have had on the spot refunds on three occasions as a result of problems encountered at different T/Ls.
Perhaps the later post should have started a separate thread?0 -
My debit card was used fraudulently last week and my bank informed me it was Travelodge call centre. I rang them to try in the hope that they may be able to trace which hotel and rooms these thieves were using. I was promised a call back that afternoon from their customer services team. I received no telephone call. The next day I rang them back and asked to speak to their customer services team and was told they did not have one. Three days later I'm still waiting. I was told that they take fraud issues very seriously and often catch these people.
It seems to me that Travelodge do not care where the money for their hotel rooms comes from as long as it's going into their bank account. £400 may not be a lot of money to them but it's a small fortune to me especially when it's been stolen from my bank account. Luckily the Halifax is reimbursing the funds and they have been great but that isn't the point.0 -
If you ever want to see if someone has opened your email use
Spypig dot com ( I can't post links )It works totally differently to using the read receipt function of a email client whereby the receiver can elect not to send a read receipt. You can also stipulate how many times you want to be notified the email has been read.0 -
My recent stay in a Travelodge York Central will certainly be my last! The room was well below standards of cleanliness, the bed wasn't clean and the room was invaded twice during the evening by strangers. I have complained in person, email and also letter, end result, Travelodge are not interested, my concerns will be passed on and no refunds will be given. Complete waste of £115 for not even a 1 star hotel. Save your money AVOID TRAVELODGE!0

To the person who mentioned about locking and the do not disturb - it makes no odds. Mine was locked and had the do not distub when I was in London recently and even told the reception I would be sleeping till about 11 so not to allow maintence up till after that (taps were broken but there was no spare room to move to) yet at around 9.30 two fellas let themselves into my room without knocking to come fix the taps. Key card overides the lock when its a master!0
