Or, get a lovely cherry tree in blossom, in a pot and plonk it right near the parking ... makes the garden area look lovely, encourages the birdies (to come and poo on her car!) and you get a beautiful display of cherry blossom petals, delicately strewn beside youe home! Then, when she moves it, get parked and move the pot! Of course, that bag of nails could be handy too ...I wish I was a glow worm, a glow worm's never glum
Cos how can you be gloomy, when the sun shines out your bum?0 -
Or accidentally sprinkle catnip powder on the car - no damage, but every feline within a mile radius decides to sit on the bonnet/roof. Especially if the OP has a little patch of ground with a plant in it that is always kept watered and a little muddy - pawprints?I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0

Hadn't been back to this thread for a while so hadn't seen the additional posts. Thought I might give you an update. Went to the neighbour to discuss the situation. Husband said if I had a problem I should go to the police or the council and he had a legal right to park wherever. I pointed out that it wasn't just about legal rights but being considerate of ones neighbours. They denied having parked there for as long as I had claimed and denied that they were only parking in 'my' spot. It made me feel it was definately the right thing to speak to them, because they didn't seem to appreciate that what they were doing might be causing a nuisance generally be annoying. By the end, wife did seem to be trying to be more conciliatory. Anyway, the next day the car was moved and since then they have been parking in a variety of spots (still not in front of their own house even though the spot is free!) so its much fairer. Hopefully problem has been resolved! :jThanks for all replies0

Good to hear madeupname1...you sound a bit calmer.
That said, I still rather like Jojo's catnip idea. Shove loads in the windscreen wiper area and in the grill, and over the tyres, and in the door sills. The cats will scratch the f**k out of it...and you will feel soooooo much better!!
Catnip £1.59...HEREI'M NOT AS THINK AS YOU DUMB I AM...
Like Gary the No-Trash Cougar says: "Give a larbage, throw out your garbage!" Spread the word!0 -
""I've got a sneaky suspicion (may have read it somewhere) that even if there is a drop kerb, you could still get it parked across, blocking you in or out and legally not do much about it""
Nope, wrong there.
I very inconsiderately parked in front of a neighbours driveway late one night with the plan of leaving pretty early the next morning for work...
With my string of bad luck - I overslept. Then promptly had the wonderful strathclyde police knocking on my door at 8am who fined me on the spot for £60 for driving with lack of care and attention.
My fault entirely, didnt expect it, but it happened and well.. I deserved it:o
It was Glasgow by the way, so be warned.:cool:0 -
