or wait until they move the car, and quickly move yours into the space before they come back
I have been waiting for that moment for the last 3 months!! I have only seen the car moved once in that time and couldn't move my car into the space 'cos my mum was driving it at the time. (We are very green / cheap in my family and so I share the car with my mother who lives about 10 mins drive away)0 -
To wuckfit, peter the piper pimpslider and anewman - thank you for helping me see the funny side of the situation
I must admit that for the last few days, I have been struggling with that ...

Try reporting, anonymously of course, that you have seen an abandoned vehicle. Maybe not, that is a bit vindictive.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Seeing as how they technically are allowed to park there and are just being impolite, buy her one of those car cover things (only cost about £5), take it round and ask her to please park under the tree and use this. If she barely uses the car then its a good idea to use one tree blossom or no tree blossom.0

'Yes, hello, I'd like to report an abandoned brand new mercedes which happens to have been abandoned outside the registered keeper's house...
'
, however if it was outside the registered keepers property the op would not have needed to post.

Grrr - Council has confirmed the space is too small for driveway as they no longer support parallel parking driveways (even though there are others nearby). So I need some other ideas. The best I have managed to come up with so far is that maybe I could break both my legs in the hope that I could then get a disabled space ??? :cool:0

I like the idea about throwing blossom all over it. It won't cause any damage and it's what she's trying to get away from.0

get two old bangers , park one at the back and one at the front leaving the minimum space to move her tub.Div 1 Play Off Winners 2007

I thought the law had changed this last year and it was now an offence to park in front of a dropped kerb - might just be parts of London - but am sure I saw this on the local news.0
