Home made DMP and reclaiming charges

  • Have you actually made a DSAR request and paid £10 or have you just asked for a list of statements? If it's the latter then they have complied. And the bank will treat a request for a refund of charges as a complaint as it is an expression of dissatisfaction. If you weren't dissatisfied with the charges that have been applied you wouldn't be asking for them back!

I used the MSE template and send a £10 cheque, not cashed yet! Have had a response from Halifax, a massive wad of paperwork!
