As the name says, I LOVE Apps!!! I love them more when they are free.
Thanks MSE, would be great if you get more companies to do this. The exposure you can give them is surely enough to convince them to give freebies for a short space of time. Tomtom anyone???0 -
just what the doctor ordered. I was looking for something for Stockholm and Copenhagen and now I get these for free !!!
Completely over the moon with these. And thanks for the "roaming" tip - I will ensure that it is switched off and test this.
Now to wait for the flight backlog to clear...0 -
No way are these worth £9.50. You can buy the printed versions much cheaper than that. Eg. Rome guide on amazon is £6.46.0

I'm assuming these apps have GPS integration, which the books most certainly don't!Quick tip - download these on your computer first, not through your iPhone. Otherwise it will keep your phone busy for ages and sap the battery completely as they are big files.
Depends on your home internet speed, and if you have wifi at home. I do, and over a 20Mb connection a 70Mb app will only take about 5mins to download. I certainly wouldn't recommend downloading any apps over 3G though!Legal team on standby0 -
Can I download them on to my blackberry or rather nokia e63 ripoff off of the blackberry0

Can't wait to download these when I get home tonight. I love a freebie!0

Sorry if this has been pointed out before but the App Store application on the iPhone won't let you download any app over 10MB big over GSM/3G, it insists on a WiFi connection.
So, no fear of mistakenly downloading 70MB whilst abroad, although even 10MB would be expensive enough for a "free" app
(Don't know if this applies to Jailbroken phones)0 -
Excellent! Busy downloading but from what we have seen so far they great, especially for free!
