Anyone else had this call from SKY?

Just had a call from "Sky" CS (alledgedly)

He said "Hello is your Sky working OK?"

I said "yes it's fine, nice and blue with a few white fluffy clouds no annoying lines from planes passing by"


He said " I am from Sky TV, have you got Sky TV?"

I said "If you are from Sky TV you will know whether I have a subscription or not won't you?"

He said we are updating our records can you confirm your details please ?

I said "not a chance mate" and put the phone on the side.

He muttered on for a few seconds then went away no doubt looking for some unsuspecting SKY customer to confirm their bank details etc..

Is it just me or is this a scam , we don't have SKY at all we cancelled our subscription in 2006.;)
