Simple answer OP is that you don't have anywhere to stand.
Apart from the big space that does not have a TV in it, of course.0 -

Keep your hat on!
It doesn't matter where the items come from does it, its where they're based which is Jersey, hence why i corrected your error (light heartedly, no intention to cause offence).
My reference to SOGA was merely an extra snippet of info lol.:beer:Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -
You are talking about the TV from Pixmania right?
Firstly, you knew 100% it was a price error......if IIRC it £199 when it should've been £1499.
Secondly, its an inviotation to buy, and that is all.
Even if they take the money it makes no difference. The contrat is only bindoing when you receive the goods.
Thirdly, did you know they are based in France anyway?
( i tried to buy 3 :P)0 -

It's very hard to convey what you are trying to say in just typewith greedy people like you about it is no wonder sites never can honor mistakes like the good old days !
Its not greedy.
Why would i want the extras in your pocket rather than mine.
It's called being quick off the mark. (had i gotten away with it).0 -

This is not a cut and dried case.
1) It can be argued that this was not a simple pricing error. They didn't just get a digit in the wrong place, they advertised 85% off as well. Therefore you can argue against their argument of doctrine of mistake on this point.
2) You are mistaken when you state contract only formed when goods are recieved - that is the case for a lot of online retailers, when the contract is formed is normally defined in the T&Cs, and in this case for those who paid by Paypal they can argue that they did have a contract due to Pixmanias poorly worded T&Cs:
"Once you have chosen your method of payment, you must pay for your order, which legally finalises the purchase agreement made with Pixmania."
Pixmania may well find themselves with multiple small claims going through for loss of bargain.0 -

I am sorry but you are completely wrong.
It is exactly a 'cut and dried case' and there is no argument.
No contract has taken place therefore there is nothing the customer can do.
It's the law.
There is NO completion of contract until goods are received. It's the same as a high street shop.
Payment, regardless of any T&C's most definitely does not finalise the contract.0
