Minimum age for insurance on 7 seater

Hi everyone, Could anyone tell me if I need to be a certain age before an insurance company is likely to consider insuring me on a 7 seater. I'm 20 and have been driving for 3 years and need to pickup a stranded Vauxhall Zafira 1.6 from heathrow airport before it runs up huge overstay charges in the Non BAA long stay carpark it is in. If I dont collect it it is likely to be there for 2-3 weeks longer than it was meant to be. I believe the owner of the car is going to try to add me as a named driver to the existing policy. The insurance company is Aviva.

advice would be appreciated.

Why not ring and ask? If an 18 year old can get insured on a ferrari, I'm sure a 20 year old can get insured on a 7 seater zafira.

It will cost somewhere from £30-£50 I imagine if just for a day or two (ans most of that will be an admin charge)

yea plan on doing that, Just wondered if there were any regulations stopping people under a certain age driving a 7 seater.

No. There aren't. Although its quite a big car its not that powerful so should be ok. Friend of mine who is 18 now I think is learning in his parents one.
Expect the insurance company to be awkward as you're an evil young driver though.

Always found aviva to be quite good actually. Im insured with them myself. Thanks for your help guys. Much appreciated.

It isn't really a big car - just looks it. It is not much bigger than an Astra.
