Easier to set of in 2nd rather than 1st

I suppose there might be a fault with the car but I suspect that the part causing the problem is the nut behind the wheel.0

Has anyone else driven the car?
Did they find it difficult to get away in 1st?
If yes = possible car fault.
If no = poor driving by you.0 -

Is it a diesel? You sound a bit like my boyfriend who is so proud of his diesel low-rev car that he doesn't use enough revs. Just give a bit more welly.0
