Dartington's factory is in Great Torrington which is North Devon. They have a shop in Dartington itself which is close to Totnes (south Devon). Just a bit on from Totnes (just off A38) is Trago Mills which is a retail park and has rides and things as well. http://www.trago.co.uk/center/Newton_Abbot.html

Sorry I missed the first post. I think the waterpark at Goodrington might be opening that week. Rainbow funhouse is good, Living Coast (you can get a ticket for zoo and living coast) My kids liked KentsCavern. Talk of the Town just reopening as Weatherspoons so reasonably priced meals there. There is a Round Robin ticket where you can get steam train, then ferry over to Dartmouth then boat up to Totnes and open top bus back to Paignton. That is a nice trip.

The steam train/ferry/bus option sounds lovely! I also fancy the house of marbles, they'd enjoy that.

There's a pub called the Willow Tree in Torquay, on 'The Willows' shopping area which does carvery for £3.50 I think, all day, every day but more on a Sunday - maybe £6.50 from memory. It's usually good though can get a bit busy.
St Marychurch is nice too and they have some great fish and chip shops if that helps!
There's a mini golf of Paignton sea front which might be fun too and there's often a mini fun fair type thing on the green at Paignton with donkey rides etc.
