I posted that competition and i am so sorry some of you are having problems i really hope you all get it sorted out.x
I don't think that you need to apologise at all. You posted what seemed like a brilliant competition from a national company. It's a shame that they are nitpicking about the terms and conditions, but there is no way that you need to apologise.0 -

is not your fault if they rubbish, you made us happy(even for a little while)A rule of the universe is, the more you give, the more you get0 -
I have to say I appreciate their terms and conditions but as long as you have the receipt they aren't losing out and are just being petty. You have made the purchase no doubt to enter the competition and with the economic climate and problems in the world at this time I think this is nothing short of ridiculous.
I would highlight your dissapointment citing the fact that you have made the purchase (and no doubt a few others) due to the competition and whilst you noted the terms and conditions if they were going to stick to it ridgidly they should have mentioned it in the winning e-mail and perhaps in failing to do so they were hoping to save money regarding said bedding that rightly should have been sent out to the winners.
I'd argue and see what comes of it, you have nothing to lose after all. Pleased I didn't enter I prefer another well known brand of air freshner/plug ins lol. I would have been furious too and I hope they see the light and you all receive your bedding x1. Cash

when i enetred it did not come up YOUVE WON CONGRATS it just said they were putting me in a draw which i won very confussed by the whole claiming bit as it did not say i had actully won0

I've just had a reply to my e mail saying all the linen sets are being dispatched this week.
I hope those of you who've had problems manage to get it resolved, it does sound like they are being a bit harsh.0 -
I know I will upset some people by saying this & apologise in advance:o but it did clearly say when entering comp that you needed to have purchased the item first & neede to have a receipt with purchase on it.
I understand it is dissapointing for people who thought they had won but I can understand why they are not accepting receipts dated after the win - most companies generate more income posting these comps than the comps cost them eg pepsi, magnum etc so they just aren't going to accept claims from people who have only bought the product because they have won
I am genuinely sorry for your dissapointment though & hope the comping fairy will give you a bigger nicer treat in return:)0 -
I am a tad worried now, It does say that you will get an instant message saying that you are a winner but I never did.
I entered a total of 3 times towards the end of the comp and won on all 3 times.
I didnt send them in within 7 days as I didnt know until I picked my emails up a week after.
Wont be hold my breath at them turning up though:j It doesn't get any better than this :j0 -
i really understand all of your frustrations, i have just read their terms and conditions and it does say in there that you will be notifed within 7 days if you are winner and you have 7 days to post in the receipt from the date the email is sent. if you get email i guess you know you are a winner.
i also agree with finatra, if you are playing without purchasing a product, how many times are you playing before you have win a prize? when you win and havn't got a receipt you could be taking that chance away from a genuine player who does have a receipt. the terms are there to stop people ripping off the competition and rewarding genuine customers. I dont know about you but i ticked the 'i agree to the terms and conditions'.. its not the companies fault if you dont actually agree with them.
well done to all those who won though
i didn't

The way I am reading this is that the people above have purchased their airwick before they have entered the competition, waited a week for confirmation of their win and a couple of weeks before claiming. I have done exactly the same thing - not sent the receipt off within 7 days of winning confirmation - I didnt know there was a time limit on claiming either - so probably wont receive my linen set either.
Think they should have mentioned in the congratulations email that you should send your claim in within 7 days, think that's very bad.
best wishes
