hello everyone,
first well done to all winners recently ,is been very lucky week for some mse:j:j:j

my concern today is about airwick bedlinen won the last competition when you had to send the receipt to them
i got my winning email on 25th march and posted the same day first class recorded delivery,waited for some time and i thought to ask if they manage to post the prize,the news which i didnt expect at all was that my claim was not valid as they received my claim out of the time they asked for, 7 days i far as can remember

that is not true and i still have receipt in my hand to prove it,email them back to explain and complain at the same time as is not fair,i dont know what to do anymore

is anyone having the same problem or have not received the prize yet

they responded and say now that not even was late but is not valid as the receipt is a day after after i entered ,how sad is that,one thing after another,i am fumming,i know is just a bedlinen but i was exited to win

Sorry to hear you have had problems claiming, from their point of view if people are entering without buying and then buying a pack after they win then the company loses money from sales. Was it that you sent them the wrong receipt though?

It probably was expected, but hopefully another win will be along soon and you will forget all about this one. After all its only linen

We have received your receipt today in the post. However we cannot validate your claim as you failed to send your receipt in within 7 days. You entered your claim on 04.04.10, you were sent your winning email 09.04.10 and we received your receipt on 20.04.10. T&C’s state:

“Winners will be notified instantly online and will receive details via email of how to claim their prize within 7 days of the instant win prize date, and must respond to such notification within a further 7 days”.


i had health problems and was unable to send them a proof letter :mad::mad::(:(:mad::mad:

I think that is very poor conduct on their part.
It is in the T&C's so they are correct but any reasonable company would have mentiond the time limit in the winners e-mail:mad:

I also got a winning e-mail on 25th March and have not heard anything since despite sending my receipt recorded delivery the same day. After reading this I have just e-mailed them asking when the prize will be sent.
