    Thanks again guys :o

I always feel awful saying I dont enjoy it, like im some sort of black sheep of the 'breastfeeding community' because I dont LOVE doing it! But funnily enough Ive actually been asked to train as a breastfeeding supporter :rotfl:Apparently the fact that I am honest and upfront about it is actually reassuring to others who, like me, feel like theres something wrong with them!

I like the comment about small steps! I was saying just earlier that I want to get to 3 months (2 weeks on Saturday lol) and then go from there one day at a time! Though I may hold off actually buying any formula as I find I tend to hit a wall at about 3am and tell myself im switching in the morning :p To actually have a tin in the cupboard would be all too tempting when in truth the feeling does pass usually by morning.

Can I say a huge well done to those who carried on despite being in pain and discomfort :T Im fortunate enough to not actually be uncomfortable when feeding (apart from the initial pinch) and not sure I could carry on for very long if it really hurt that much

Hmm, I don't actively love it either, but it doesn;t bother me negatively, unless he nibbles at me but then that's not a feeding thing so much. She is 9 months tomorrow and feeds I think about 9 times in 24 hours now - it used to be around 12/13 - so you would think I love it but actually I just do it like I do things like putting the rubbish out or cooking. I don;t look forward to it but I don;t hate it either, it's neutral for me.

I suppose I am motivated by it being so good for DD, which is why I'm aiming for at least a year, hopefully 2 (as per WHO guidelines).

I also would have been tempted by having formula in so never did and after the first horrendous 10 weeks it suddenly all clicked and stopped being awful.

I don't think it's a bad thing to say you don't enjoy it. I'm an active member of our local Bfing community but wouldn;t think it was bad if someone said that.
