yeah but i find it fun, the excitement, the chase the F5ing waiting for despatch or confirmation. Then the numerous calls to CS demanding a refund or some sort of compensation for the loss, seeing what we can get away with, which is sually naff all but worth a go.
We had to get an iphone - so i can check things on the go otherwise i'd probably never leave the house.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

Looking at Hotukdeals forum at same time. Someone just posted thisCant afford the £200 unfortunately, but if you look at the page's html source.
I was checking to see if the 85% was generated by calculating the sale price against the RRP.
Its not.</div>
<p class="flash-sale-info"><span>Countdown Discounts : </span><strong>-85%</strong></p>
</div>
<div class="product-amounts">
<p class="prd-old-amount"><del>£ 1,369.10</del></p>
<p class="prd-price">£ 199 <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">Inc. VAT</span></p>
the 85% is automatically been typed in tonight, so if it was a mis-price, its been mis-priced twice. Once at the percentage stage, and secondly at the £199 section.
Anyway, good luck to you's and you could probably use my post as an argument if there is fights later on with them.0 -
Went for it and ordered one.
This would make our year if it arrives!
Would be great to replace our reeeaaally old 32" 'fat' one we still have at the mo!
Kids will go mad if it turns up (oh and hubby as he would love a bigger tv to watch the footie on this summer!) :cool:
Everything crossed. good luck to us all.
Thanks op. :T0 -

me!!! i'm usually so indecisive when purchasing things, and search for info on the product all over the web beforehand but think i bought this within 5 mins of seeing this post :rotfl:gotta be quick for these glitches
well, if it gets cancelled i havent lost anything, took money out of my savings account so it'll not be hugely missed if they take an age to refund. fingers crossed for us all xI got ham but i'm not a hamster.....0 -
If they'd have to refund the money (i.e. the money hasn't just been reserved against the credit limit - and it definitely shows up on the statement as a transaction) then I would say so.
I have to wonder if it did go to court if a judge would talk about what you would reasonably expect to pay for such a TV and kill the case based on that.
I reasonably pay the price stated on the page at the time and at the time i ordered. Being female and TV technically challenged i have no serious idea what the difference is between 1 tv to the next.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
