That is totally uncalled for. Stores are SUPPOSED to make it clear that previous offers no longer apply if changing prices.
check that with the Trades Descriptions Act hun, then see who looks as thick as mince!:D:D:D0 -

Stores normally have signage saying that multisaves do not apply to reduced to clear products. Signage does not have to be at every product - ask any TS officer hun.
Those above and customers aren't always the brightest....

oh well on the subject of brightest read through again as the OP has already stated there was no such disclaimer as she already looked, if you read through the post! on the subject of signage if there isnt any CLEAR signs at a product and they put "offers" like BOGOF and B1G1F E.T.C on shelfs and a certain product is exempt customers would be realy confused at to what is on "offer" when told its not on "offer" at the till.
ive seen stores have a multisave signs at reduced or clearance shelf to clear for new stock! or get rid of an over stock.0
