Haha. I'm not impressed to be honest. Was expecting a lot more improvements than that. They seem to have spent the time on making it a bit faster which most people wouldn't notice anyway, and adding the front camera which most people won't use, and changing the shape slightly. It's similar to the difference of the 3G->3GS, except it's now 3GS->4G. Not worth upgrading my 3GS IMO.

Seems like Apple are relying on all the fanboys to upgrade as soon as it is released.

What "improvements" were you hoping for?

    A satellite dish?

    Coffee maker?

A swimming pool with room for a pony?

So Apple should instead be relying on people who hate their products to buy it?

What an odd thing to say.

Not entirely sure how a swimming pool, coffee maker and a pony bare any relevance to this discussion, perhaps an inside joke?:rotfl:

I never said I was hoping for anything, believe it or not I don't kneel next to my bed at night and hope and prey to the Apple god for list of new features to be implemented in the next iPhone.

Also doesn't make sense for you to say Apple will rely on people that hate the brand to buy the new iPhone, I can't see the logic there but each to their own I suppose. If you're implying that I hate Apple products then you'd do well to read the post you quoted which includes ...

OK then, what improvements were you expecting?

You seemed to take issue with the fact that Apple were relying on people who like their products to buy them.

I was merely pointing out that it would be absurd to expect anything else.
