Can Freeview boxes get BBC iPlayer ??
Was thinking this isn't possible, as Freeview boxes just receive & cannot send request for specific programs like on cable Tv.

I'm just thinking of the Freeview box by itself.Kurtis_Blue wrote: »The Humax HD freeview players can/will, not 100% sure if its still in beta. But it need an internet connection as you state.

No the i in iPlayer stands for internet.
You could splash out on a nice new TV with built in internet access.

Not very MSE. Better (IMHO) to just get a Freeview HD box. Or wait a month and get a Freevew HD PVR.Hello.0 -

I'm only interested in buying a cheap £20-£30 Freeview box.Not very MSE. Better (IMHO) to just get a Freeview HD box. Or wait a month and get a Freevew HD PVR.
Not interested in buying HD recorders because they'll just get full of things I haven't had time to watch or want to keep, easier to use video or DVD with removable media.
