I have an appointment with the CAB to discuss my debt. I have already printed out a SOA to take. Do I need to take anything else with me? Thanks in advance.

Take details of your debts and your I&E (SOA)
They will then be able to help you
Thanks

Will I need to take wage slips and credit card statements, sorry to be a pain but I wasn't told what to bring. Thanks.0

Trying to remember what I took when first went to them, was things like Proof of income and benefits. Wage slips if working. CC statements. I took formal ID, my passport and driving licence. In my case details of mortgage. Perghaps a good idea to take any creditor latters, things like that. The more info they have the more they can assist you.
Hope it goes well0 -

hi, basically you need to take proof of everything that is on your SOA:
Debt - including utility bills, phone bills etc
3 months wage slips (if applicable)
Any proof of benefits (if applicable)
The CAB will then put them onto an Income/Expenditure sheet that you will sign.0 -
I have never asked a client for a passport - only asked for ID if someone is acting on the client's behalf.0

Proof of income/benefits
Details of the debts including last known balance, account number, who the debt is currently with and also who is named on the account (including any guarantors).
Any court documentation or any utility bill arrears.
A financial statement, or at least the information to be able to provide one if you don't have a financial statement done (ie bank statements).
We don't need ID (although it may vary bureau to bureau) but you'll be asked to sign a third party consent form.
That is sufficient for the first interview really, if there's anything else the advisor needs they will ask for you to provide it afterwards.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
