Well, we're finally out of contract with BT for broadband and calls. My GF spoke to them the other day and they offered:
*12 month BB for £9.49 (normally £15.99? No idea which option we're on. Guessing option 1?)
*12 month line rental (£2 off) @ £9.54 a month
*Total of £19.03 a month for 12 months including Unlimited weekend and evening calls.
Does this sound like a good deal?
What would you recommend? I've never changed BB supplier before. Is it best to change line rental as well?
I've checked my exchange and it's Market 3 (though no O2) - ref WMFER
I've got Sky HD and I'm an Orange customer. I do quite a bit of downloading and increasingly mkv's, so would prefer unlimited and for the package to be reliable.
Thanks in advance, RS

So over the 12 months you'll pay £226.77ish...
Price-wise it's pretty good but you could get similar elsewhere (e.g. plusnet Value and plusnet phone £212.88/year or TalkTalk Essentials £221.76/year) - that's assuming BT are offering option one, though, both of those deals have small usage allowances. Unlimited is likely to be a lot more.
Option one only has 10GB of usage so you'll prob go over that won't you if you're downloading a lot? Since you've got a pretty good offer maybe it'd be worth asking BT for a price for option 3 (unlimited).
How about Sky Unlimited? line rental's £11, unlimited broadband's £15 but maybe they'd give you a discount with your TV?0 -
Yep BTs about £228 pa on option 1
As I'm a Sky subscriber I get unlimited for about £200 pa (after quidco) so will prob go with them0 -
I'm impressed they've dropped the line rental. They never usually move on that.0
