Sky to BT Vision

I have asked this on the teccie thread but perhaps this is the better place!
I am thinking of changing from Sky to BT Vision. I currently have a "magic eye" from the lounge to the bedroom. Can this be used on the BT Vision box so I can continue to watch upstairs?
Does anyone have experience of changing from Sky to BT Vision and have comments about the comparison?
Thanks in advance

You are aware that BT vision is basically freeview with on demand so you will require a fairly decent broadband connection say at least 2MBps
Honest opinion I wouldn't touch it I found the system slow.
From what i have read for Google the magic eye wont work with vision even though the box has an RF out0 -
Magic eye will only work with Sky systems & nothing else.A friend of mine has BT vision in,worse thing he ever done,he's now on his third router/home hub,the pictures erratic & breaks up & the bills are far higher than he expected.0
