Sky to BT Vision

Options
I have asked this on the teccie thread but perhaps this is the better place!
I am thinking of changing from Sky to BT Vision. I currently have a "magic eye" from the lounge to the bedroom. Can this be used on the BT Vision box so I can continue to watch upstairs?
Does anyone have experience of changing from Sky to BT Vision and have comments about the comparison?
Thanks in advance

  • You are aware that BT vision is basically freeview with on demand so you will require a fairly decent broadband connection say at least 2MBps

Honest opinion I wouldn't touch it I found the system slow.

From what i have read for Google the magic eye wont work with vision even though the box has an RF out

Magic eye will only work with Sky systems & nothing else.A friend of mine has BT vision in,worse thing he ever done,he's now on his third router/home hub,the pictures erratic & breaks up & the bills are far higher than he expected.
