using internet whilst in France for one week - How?

Options
hi everyone. I'm off on a family break to Britanny at the end of May, for 8 days. Due to a work commitment, I need to be able to access the internet whilst away for a couple of hours.

I'm really not sure how best to achieve it:
I have a laptop that I could take, but also have a iphone on o2.

Which is the best option? is it worth ringing o2 and asking if they can negotiate some sort of deal for me for those 8 days?
Will my laptop work if there is free wifi anywhere (not near a macs, but possibly holiday park may have wifi access, i just don't know if it is as common in France as over here)

An:)y ideas/suggestions very much appreciated - I'm not very technically minded!!

:)

If you have wireless on your laptop, the yes it will work on any free hotspot.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Why not ring the holiday park and ask them,or look at their website.

I've just come back from a holiday in France and there was WiFi access in reception but I don't think it's that common.

You could also look on Yellow Pages

for Cybercafes although they're not as common as in the UK and can be quite expensive..

I've also got the same problem. I was considering buying a PAYG dongle while in France. I need to look into the costs though.

Look here, but it isn't cheap. 10MB for 2 Euros. Unlimited until midnight for 8 Euros. 9 Euros for the dongle.

There is also the A-Mobile(same network as the above) available for 39.90 Euros, with a measly 2 hours of access. An extra 8 hours of access will cost another 25 Euros. 1 hour 7 Euros. 3 hours 15 Euros.
They also have an 'Unlimited' package 'without commitment' for 29.90 Euros, though I'm not sure that you'll be able to apply for it.

If there is an Orange HotSpot nearby you can pay for access.
