But can't seem to remember which day off the week it was on, thinking it must have been kitchen/living roomMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

As it's the weekend -
If you are invited to a party (birthday/anniversary) and you decline are you expected to still send a present, bearing in mind you don't normally exchange b'day/xmas presents with them?0 -
Greenbee anything is better than revising
I think you should tell us your colleague's problems, then you can tell her 'Well the flyladies say you should...' I bet she'd never offload on you again
I have started finding sources for my chapter of a group project. Due in 5th May so plenty of time... or notChifundo Uzuri Siochain"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost" - JRR Tolkien~~ Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal ~

I wouldn't personally, I would send a card to celebrate the occasion but no present (hope that helps)Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Crafty - I agree with the others on this. Unless you really want to send a present, I wouldn't.
I've cleared and hoovered the loft stairs and the tiny landing at the bottom - hope NN won't be too cross with me, as it was quite late. I really don't want to do more, but I've promised myself a bath after three more jobs:
Put clean towels away
Tidy said landing
Tidy bottom of DS1's wardrobe
If DH isn't back yet when I'm out of the bath I may just sort through the small amount of clean washing in the basket.0 -
I was joking... I forget some things get lost in translation on t'internet, sorry.
Crafty - I think I'd send a card and not a present, especially as you said you don't usually exchange presents with the person, but I only really do presents for family and very close friends so don't have much experience sorry.
I've decluttered some more words of my chapter onto the laptop, so I'm off to bed. Really tired at the moment, don't know what is going on.
