Is it really wrong to gag them and tie them up and lock them in the shed when they being this horrible?

This one (and at that price too... but I'd never have got round to buying it online :p)

Sprinkler is on the front lawn... needs half an hour, then I need to do the back...

managed to come home with a kenwood :o I've wanted one for ages, but not done anything about it... however, this was a 1000w motor reduced by £100 so it seemed too good to miss :o

Was that the one in Mr S? I was very tempted but refuse to buy one till I have a worktop to put it on. ETA and in Amazon, I have an interest free card for six months for them too..... *sits on hands*

Huge amounts done today, lots and lots and lots of weeds decluttered, and the shrub prunings shredded and recycled as chippings for the secret path behind the playhouse rather than fill the brown bin. Tired and achey but in a positive way. The wisteria has started to flower, the azaleas and rhododendrons are just starting too - it is lovely pottering round even if I do fill a trug with perennial weeds for the brown bin every ten minutes .

Yes, it was. Admittedly I now need to clear the work surface in the utility room, which is where it is going to live (along with lots of my cake-decorating stuff) once the shed is sorted and the junk from the utility room is rehomed.

Which reminds me - I MUST measure up for shelves for the shed tomorrow...

    Evening all

House looking pretty tidy and clean still.

Managed a fair bit in the garden, more to do tomorrow.

Boys enjoyed the trip out to Cafe Rouge.

I just need to make DS3's bed and help DS2 do his and then hoik them into them.

Jinky - I'm glad you had a good day

Greenbee - my friend has that Kenwood and loves it - I'm very jealous but can't justify one with having a magimix.

Hex - best way to get rid of violets - I think I have two sorts, the tiny one and the larger one - they have completly invaded my rose beds and there are tiny little seedlings everywhere which i guess could be more. Is it a case of removing by hand, roots and all?

Dusty I have to do mine by hand, and I am told the roots must come out too or they just re-sprout. I do just rake them out from under the firethorn (for obvious reasons) but they grow back very quickly.

One of that cats loves some bulbs I had this week - he is trying to sleep in the parcel. Nothing obvious, and none of the others are fussed. I weeded my fat gingers fave catmint patch earlier and then couldn't get rid of the cats until I changed my gloves :rotfl:.

Toots - are you still after some freesias?
