Right...DD2 hasn't broken her wrist, so I am not an evil mother for not noticing the lump on her wrist until all the other scabs and bruising had gone down.
KH2 lives to annoy me another day. It's not that I object to his allowing her to try and train his Boxer to be a Huskie in the street with a makeshift scooter !!! go kart, (would have been a perfectly reasonable use of my time at 10 years old as well - and probably with a similar result, as the scars remind me) it's just I have missed the opportunity to have a nag at him about her wearing the protective gear when she's doing such things, especially with a terminal velocity of approximately 20 mph
Although tendon damage in the last couple of weeks before SATS (Assuming they're not boycotted - surely the teachers won't do that do the kids after all their hard work - even though they are only for league tables, it still makes them feel rubbish that it seems to not be important after all if they're boycotted) is less than ideal, it's better than needing it to be reset.
She is a star though - did her homework whilst waiting to be seen, never complained and shrugged her shoulders afterwards, saying, 'well, I needed it xrayed and if I had needed it broken and redone, it's not really anyone's fault'
I wonder sometimes if anything is beyond her capabilities.
Still no flying done!I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Stefjb - Have a great day!
Toots -
Jinkypinks -
LadyL -Big hugs honey. Always an honour to listen and support hon and I will say what I have said before and you always ignore
- you need to stop giving so much to others so you end up depleted, you are too generous and you need to think of 'you' more.
Boddy -
Natty -
Julie - I haven't been able to face the stairs at the moment.. I live in a first floor apartment and have stairs down to the front door and getting back up would be even harder..However, I am going to try this afternoon - my OH suggested strapping a mattress to the front of me so if I fell I had a soft landing. I said I would just bounce anyway even without the mattress!...
Poohbear - thanks for the advice re ginger biscuits.. I have been nibbling crystalized ginger
Mumof5 - hope yesterday went as well as it could. Big hugs hon.
Triker - Your story about your lovely midwife brought tears to my eyes, she sounds wonderful.Discovered yesterday that they 'forgot' to send me home with a drug I should have been taking since the procedure and for the next month at least, so a tad annoyed.Anyway, love to all and hope everyone has a good day. With love, light andDiva.x
To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough. If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.0 -
So my list today is:
- Feed tadpoles.
- Answer/clear 30 mins of emails
- Go out into garden
- pot up chillis and peppers and tomatoes
- Ring Dr again

- Brush the cat when she gets on the bed next to me.
Hope anyone feeling poorly feels better today.

Morning All
Didn't get on at all yesterday as I was shattered when I got in from work at 7.45 so by the time I'd had my tea I just collapsed on the settee. Mum and dad's for tea tonight and then Beavers' parade and AGM. Tomorrow Beavers 2 - 8 and all Sunday afternoon as well so I can't see me getting much done this weekend!
Have a good day all
Hugs

Good morning  Another beautiful day in The North :j I have confused DH (easily done *roll eyes smilie*
) by moving my car so that I can weed the Flower Bed of Doom  Nothing grows there apart from weeds, so I may be planting up a nettle and dandelion bed - for the wildlife, don;t you know :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I have friends coming for tea and cake this afternoon, so I'm making a cream and fruit sponge cake, and we'll sit outsideP-P I have to ask it, I know you've been doingb this for years but how do you manage to be so on top of everything?
I've been following this thread for about 18 months, and I tell you it took me a good 3 months to get it ship-shapeI really hate cleaning, but realised that I needed to "get my house in order" and though I'd still rather be gardening, sewing or cooking, I'm not prepared to let it slip back to how it was
I'm also pathologically organisedand make sure that my family pull their weights. I love the Friday list, as my 15yo and 17yo do their own rooms (there is NO WAY that I would go in there uninvited  ) so I catch up on the mon-thur lists and add some paperwork and outdoor tasks of my own

Happy Belated Birthday wishes to cosomo :rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Hopefully she'll go in to labour tonight so I don't have to have another day worrying about her...
Good news - if she's 2cm dilated, she's in labour already :jtoottifrootti wrote: »I have gone on too much - sorry everybody - we need to let this go and do as Pen Pen says.
I am going to bed as I am tired and frustrated and upset now!
night all
toots xx
Aww, toots, please don;t be upset, hun :A (I'd give you a warm squishy hug, but Hystersisters is playing up for me atm). Hope you wake with a spring in your step :j

Jinky - love your avatar and location!
Despite DD rolling in at 1am (she has no college today but all her friends do  ) both children are up and bouncing about
I'm going to update my list, then work from that whilst the Forums are closed 9:00 - 11:00
Enjoy your days, Penny. x
