Thomas Cook is 5Kg for carry on.

If you can't pack enough for each of you in 4 cases of 15kg each plus 5kg carry on then you need to take a look at what's going with you...

Throw out half the clothes and chuck in a box of travel wash and a travel iron.

When we are packed with everything we need for a fortnight and a little bit more, our cases weigh about 9kg each, hand luggage is negligible it is only a book and documents and spare underwear.

My case weights nearly 5 kilos alone, how do you have a 9 kilo packed case?

If you book the Thomson platinum (or is it premier) holidays you get 23 kilos & 7 kilos carry on:D
    Loads;)

We finally decided to go with 2 cases, got 2 soft type ones which are supposed to be the lightest ones around, just hope they don't get ripped on the conveyor belts, wouldn't want my "smalls" all over the place. Anyway, only 3 days left now till we go.:A

If it reassures you in anyway, we've gone down that route for years, and nothing has ever gone amiss/go damaged. It may be a good idea to pack anything delicate/electrical in the middle of the bag and wrap it with clothing.
It also makes loading the car a lot easier.

    Have a great holiday.
