Egg Money Pos Balance. How to Cashback?

in Credit cards
hello.
i am sure this will have been covered somewhere, but for some reason when i type Egg in the search box it comes back as nothing found.
heres my scenario, probably the same as 100's of others.
i have got the potential to put around £12500 onto my Egg Money card.
£8550.00 was transferred from virgin to my current account which i then put to my savings account, i could easily send this to my Egg Money card if need be.
a further £4000.00 will be on my Egg Money card shortly. all amounts are from 0% BT's.
my question is, is there anyway of taking advantage of the 1% cashback using the "free" money that will be on my card? i am not talking about everyday spending, i mean moving large sums that would generate big cashback.
the only thing i could think off was that i do have an online account with a bookmaker(a very safe one)and egg do not charge for gambling transactions on the Money card as yet. so i was thinking of depositing/withdrawing and getting CB that way.
does this sound feasable? would Egg take off cahback for refunds, are there any other ways of doing it?
any help appreciated.
thank you.

There are several threads on the stoozing board. A quick search has revealed the most recent discussion...

Egg money and BACS
Make sure you read up thoroughly before embarking, especially if you're using the card for purchases at the same time.0 -
I think you have to request a transfer of funds (i.e. the Egg Money account's positive balance) either by phoning them or sending them a secure message asking for this. A DIY balance transfer doesn't work and neither does a phone call to request a balance transfer. (I've tried them and they don't work in generating any cashback.) Thus it has to be a 'BACS payment' and definitely not a balance transfer. See the posts over at stoozing.com where this has been discussed quite a bit......under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

As I know Egg Money does charge for gambling site deposit.....read the T&Cs carefully before you do it.0

egg card does, egg money doesnt. nothing in the current T&C state they do make a charge. i have used the egg money card for it in the past and they dont charge.
i believe this may change in september, but not sure how "in credit" payments to a bookmaker would work.0 -
You are right. That starts from 1 September.
