can we rent even tho im a home owner?

my gf wants to rent an intermeident rent house, its in perfect location and its new,close to her parents but its not private rent.
the problem is i have a mortgage on a small house,and our family is growing. i am not entitled to this scheme as i am not a first time buyer. (this scheme is 80% cheaper then regular properties but its not that,its the location we need and the house) she doesnt work so cant apply on her own. (we have 2 newborns)
if we apply,will they be able to see i have a mortgage on my credit report?
id sell my house but i cant do it on a whim,and as i work she needs her mothers help asap with babies.

Yes they will be able to find out you have a mortgage. Quite simply you are not eligible for the scheme so would not be able to rent that particular house.
Since you have said it is the location you are after not the reduced rent price, can you not just look at other rental properties in the area?0
