Virgin Broadband only

I have virgin media 10mb broadband ( £18mnth ). no tv or phone. my contract is now up im goin to phone to try and get a gd deal. i dnt hav a bt line in my home and was wondering if virgin would check if i had a phone line as i am going to use and offer tht sky are doing to try and get a btr deal.

Its cheaper to have virgin Broadband with a phoneline. Sky dont offer broadband without tv but they cant check to see if you have a bt line or sky.

Sky now do offer Broadband without TV... It started last week. It just isn't the most competitive deal around. I am sure Virgin will give you a better deal even without their other services.

It can be cheaper to have both but it is not always, it depends on what deal you have.

The official rate for 10mb BB only is £20 a month though a lot of us have a discount deal, OP had a £18 a month deal, I pay £17 a month, I have heard other posters on here say they only pay £10 a month.

The official price for 10mb BB + phone line rental is £12.50 + £11.99.

great news that sky now do BB on its own. I am in a similar position and am due to call Virgin for a better deal too.

I have tv/phone/ BB, has anyone had anu experience with a free channel upgrade instead of cheaper monthly fee?
