I hope I am wrong but my feelings are someone (competeter) intentionally reported me and the 4 chargeback. It is strange someone would buy and on the same day open a dispute and all 4 chargeback are unusual. All 4 were initiated within 72 hours of sale. From all post here I assume that It is my fault because some fraud decided to add a Paypal account, no listing braches within 6 months because they all are new? I posted on this forum for suggestions because reading all post I thought someone might be able to suggest something but no I am once again being told that it is all my fault.
Your changing the story again. What did exactly happen. I never said it was all your fault I said within paypals eyes from what you had told us you were a high risk and they are within rights to withdraw their service. I'm sorry i can't tell you exactly what you want to hear but I and others can only go on what has been said if that keeps changing we have no chance of offering anything helpful
What sort of chargebacke were they ? Were they fraudulent use of a CC or just customer chargebacks for another reason? You'v not actually told us the reasons why your account was suspended before. PP don't just suspend accounts because ou start selling. They also don't suspend accounts because you don't have any money in so those reasons aren't complete.
Give us the complete picture and we may be able to help without that we can only draw conclusions from the little changing inaccurate information your providing0 -
My opinion is....sorry to say the op will never win against Pay Pal they seem to move the goals posts. I would urge the op to re-direct the energy in looking at other methods of selling online and of course payment methods. It won't be easy because as we know Pay Pal pretty much have the monoply of payment system for small sellers.
Long for the day that the UK justice systems catch up with Pay Pal0 -

I think the problem is not so much that paypal have the 'monopoly' but that realistically there is no where else to sell quantities of mobile phones. This is one area where a stand alone website would look very odd I can't imagine anyone buying phones from a website with no history and no real protection..as of course the seller couldn't offer paypal and i would imagine a merchant account to take credit cards would be extortionate.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The account was, and is still, frozen except for the capability of making refunds which I chose to do to get the wad out of PayPal's hands where PayPal could use them for its own purposes contrary to the purposes of the donors."PayPal's chief of legal affairs has apologised to Cryptome after the eBay-owned payment service confiscated its funds without explanation. John Muller, ultimately responsible for setting PayPal's guidelines, says the payment company made a mistake. He adds that he was a fan and former donor to Cryptome.
Hopefully this should help you understand that just because you did not have a bad experience does not mean it's not true. I have never ever done anything; have a Credit card, 2 debit cards and a bank account registered with PayPal. Provided my passport copies, bank statements, supplier info, supplier invoice etc so my account limitation could be taken off and for no reason was but only till I had few sales.0 -
I never changed my story. From the very beginning I have said I have 4 chargeback and what I meant with someone's intentional doing this was just my concern due to the way my account was suspended and all the sudden chargeback in a very similar fashion. Now I have better reason to believe this because on Sunday night I received my first negative feedback from the same buyer who bought the item and same day opened a not received dispute saying he was sorry and was testing. I emailed eBay explaining that the buyer opened a dispute and I never sent him the item so how can he leave me a negative feedback saying “this is a fake”. I also expressed my concern that someone was doing this in purpose, mat is my competitor. I received an email yesterday from EBay as follows;
Hello XXXX,
Thanks for your email about your request to have the negative feedback
left to you by "XXXX" removed as well as your suspicions to this
member's intention of winning your item.
Firstly, let me deal your feedback concern. After doing a
cross-reference between the Feedback Removal policies of eBay and the
feedback you had received, I am glad to inform you that the feedback you
identified was removed as it fits one of our feedback removal criteria.
Now about you suspecting that your trading partner left the feedback to
disrupt your listings, I've recently investigated this account and I can
confirm that necessary action has been taken on this member as there was
enough evidence to suggest
I have only pasted the relevant info from the email. I also would clarify I have 3 chargeback not 4 and 1 dispute mentioned above. All 3 chargeback are very similar, PayPal blocked the funds (not 21 days) and the payment was refunded next day after receiving instructions from PayPal to refund the money or provide postage proof.0 -
Yes as a high risk customer anyone has the right to withdrew services however on this occasion I am not a high risk customer because I am being targeted (victim of fraud) due to PayPal’s failure to protect me and fulfil the promises they make when signing up. How can I stop someone from another part of this world or know who is a fraud and who not without any information? If someone has fraudulent intention, it is my fault and also if I suspect someone and refund them then I could be suspended for too many refunds.
EBay wouldn’t let me block anyone less than 5 feedbacks, newly registered and yes I can agree with eBay on this because then no eBay member would have more than 5 feedbacks.
Hopefully I made my point. PayPal could decide to freeze my funds for 6 months without any fault of mine or any reasons and on this case I am 100% certain I am at no fault.0 -
I have tried everything and today sent a letter before action to PayPal UK. Any suggestions would be appreciated0

But you are a risk you have multiple customer claims against you.Thats high risk. The majority of paypal customers and ebay sellers manage to protect themselves. There are easy ways to protect yourselves form poor sellers on ebay. Set your seller preferences very tight. Paypal are freezing your funds as a credit card can be charge backed up to 6 months so they are protecting themselves from losses.
You can't blame paypal for not protection you. You have admitted yourself that you were suspended multiple times. After the first time you should have looked at your selling practices and maybe considered your processes. You have to take some responsibility yourself of protecting yourself from poor transactions. As 99% of paypal users and ebay sellers use paypal with no problems it does not point to paypal being the main problem in this situation.
As I said earlier your only hope is begging. Also the story that you seem unable to clarify and you have changed is if paypal stopped the payments or your customers did.

You also claim that PP blocked your account just because you started selling
Reading your responses it really does sound like you were selling high risk items and not protecting yourself well enough0 -
Im afraid once your account has been flagged you are doomed the room for error is limited. I know hindsight is a good thing but it would have been best to get your account approved before you start selling. Once paypal has made their decision unless you can prove you were a victim of fraud theres nothing else you can do.
Dont set up another account you will get banned straight away0 -

ISO as I asked earlier did you refund or was it a chargeback. It can't be both.

I have mentioned earlier that PayPal blocked the money for investigation and later asked me to refund, so obviously I refunded buyer?
What do you mean I have to tighten up, I have most countries deemed high risk blocked, anyone with less than 5 feedback can only buy when a credit card is registered with eBay and also have a PayPal account, anyone with 2 strikes in the last 6 months can’t buy etc. I have the maximum buyer criteria possible in eBay
You are not just understanding or trying to defend PayPal for whatever reason without reading my post properly! This is exactly the reason I have been suspended due to too many refunds and this is the only reason I was given
Everything else like buyer chargeback etc I mentioned is what I can see could have been the reason. Yes I was suspended once before but that wasn’t because I have done anything wrong but PayPal wanted proof from me that I provided and my account was restored
I asked for suggestions here for legal actions and not reasons why my account was suspended. If I agreed with suspension, I wouldn’t be going to court?
If someone managed to fulfil all eBay criteria and buy from me than do I have a choice not to send the item or risk negative feedback? Just because you probably did not have a problem doesn’t think everyone why PayPal limit is for genuine reasons. Yes I do sell high risk item, but not 1 negative feedback, 100% buyer satisfactions no buyer complains apart from 1 buyer leaving negative feedback which eBay kindly removed (read previous post and eBay response) can I ask what is the difference between me and most other sellers on eBay that I am a risk and not others?
If you check eBay sellers on mobile phones it is not hard to see that apart from 1 power seller most other Power sellers are suspended with 100% feedback, or they have many negative feedbacks. Hope this tells my concern because I know for sure I have traded very honestly, no reasons for anyone finding me a risk and most importantly I am not new to eBay.
Do you know how easy it is to get eBay members suspended and if I want to I can do that thou I am not that sick, I understand for many sellers this is the main source of income but not for me as I am fortunate enough (Thank God) I have a full time job0
