I would be interested in the response to this..
I have never known a DAB Radio to work well for long periods when it is stood still on my windowsill, never mind with one moving about in a car!0 -
Can I ask what you love about DAB radio as opposed to FM radio?0

One other thing to note is that ~if~ the decision is made to adopt DAB+ in the UK, Pure describe the upgrade as "chargeable", so it would be worth finding out how much that will cost if you need to upgrade.
I may be remembering this wrong, but I ~think~ DAB and DAB+ can't co-exist, so if the change is made and you don't upgrade, it may be useless.0 -
As chr15 points out above, DAB radios have awful reception on the move, it's really a bad idea for in-car systems. Plus with DAB+ just aroung the corner you would be investing in an obsolete technology.poppy100

Listening to absolute radio, test match cricket, bbc7, 5 live and talksport in good quality, my main concern as other posters have said is retaining the high quality on the move, from reviews i have read the dab highway is supposed to be very good and if buy the external aerial even better.0 -
also i think the dab+ question is answered here;

Why not just remove your existing car radio and put in a DAB unit?0
-
because i wanted to ask about a dab highway as i already have a car stereo0
-
...because it's a far neater solution for what you seem to want?0
