    When my sons best friend died of a brain tumour when they were both 13 years old his mother kept everything of his. All hiss Christmas presents the lot.

    Parents do not usually give their child's gifts back when they have died.

    It is not illegal to open another persons mail unless you intend to commit fraud - this is frequently incorrectly posted:)
