Gave them a ring and they got me a quote with him as main driver and me as named driver, fully comp, him on a provisional licence, with the likelihood of the premium staying the same when he passes his test (most insurers increase the premium on passing)
Wait for it £1226.80 - really pleased as you can imagine

Hi just bought a policy from Aviva tonight with your recommendation, put my 18yr old son on my policy for a Twingo, got it for £1114, that is £1500 less than the nearest other quotes we spent hours getting. So thanks for the heads up!!!!!!
