i havent been for a while but we had a caravan there for about ten years - mum and dad occasionally go for the day just to visit a resturant we used to go to all the time - its called la bella and its in the square in cleethorpes where there is sometimes a tiny market - others may be able to give better directions - but during the week its half price and the pizza platters are luverly!0

just done a google on it - theres a website http://www.labellarestaurant.co.uk/ and its in market street x0

La bella have changed their pizzas now and isn't as nice as it used to be though if you've never eaten there, you might still like it. Its still good just not as good lol
There's also the Grosvenor pub (down Humberston Road you will past it if you go to Tesco Extra) which has cheap meals.
The Wellow has been refurnished and does really nice food. That's next to the bowling alley and cinema.
There's the Cleethorpes Leisure which offers swimming and waves (I loved the waves as a kid)
There's the mini railway aswell. Great if it's good weather.March Wins

For good homemade food try the 'Tilted Barrel' in Waltham, I'd advise booking for an evening though. They do the best homemade chips!! Ernie Becketts chippy (opposite steels) is fab too, it's just off of the sea front.0

There's the eat all you want, Indian and Chinese buffet place near the Cinema. It's about £7.99 in the evenings and I think it's a couple of quid cheaper in the afternoon.0

I think Pleasure Island reopens on May 1st.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

hi,
there is a small zoo at cleethorpes somewhere near mcdonalds - or at least there was a few years ago??
Also a cinema and a childrens fun play place (tunnels/climbing etc) again same area.
Thorpe park will I'm sure have kids activities/entertainment and sure they have a pool too?
Be sure to find a chippy in Cleethorpes that makes their own onion rings - slices of onion dipped in batter - lovely -and cleethorpes is only place have ever find them!! (not at skeg or mablethorpe!)
Mablethorpe has great seal sanctuary and fantastic beach too.
have a great holiday!
