Advice On Selling My CAR..Please...
Options
I need to sell my car to free up some money...I spoke to the finance company yesterday they told me I can hand back the car and that will have my agreement terminated and I have paid over half for the car OR I can sell it myself...
Where is the best place to sell my car I did look at ebay but not too sure how much I would pay in fees and im not good at working things out like that
Also I will have to tell anyone that comes to look at it that I need to pay the finance off are they better off doing this if I gave the the number then I ring and check they have done this or do I do it its allot of mucking about for someone that wants to come and buy a car private? but im sure it does happen
any advice would be apreciated as I really dont have a clue what im doing

How much is the car worth and how much do you owe the finance company. Check eBay and Autotrader for a rough idea of how much your car is worth/selling for.0

You also want to try and get a settlement figure for the car from the finance company and then any prospective buyer knows what is owed. If I was the buyer I think I would want to pay the finance company (so i know it is done) and the any balance to the seller. But you can sort that out by mutual agreement.0
