O2 Payg Online Price Increases From 15/8/2006

Maybe Telefonica have finally realised that the amazing increase in PAYG customers was due to the heaps of free SIMs being dished out like smarties...

...the NGN/allowance bit isn't really a change of terms at all - the T&Cs for the services involved (at least the ones I have) have always stated that calls to 08 numbers aren't included (or equivalent wording) - all O2 are doing is enforcing the terms where they weren't previously. The 07744/55 ones seem to be new though.

Edit : E.g. the T&Cs for Talkalotmore posted on the NS - http://www.o2.co.uk/mobilestariffs/tariffs/paygo/talkalotmore/talkalotmorepre30thsept2005. These are old ones and state "UK to UK standard landlines starting 01 or 02." even though this was never enforced until now - though for some reason NS seems to be using them as an arguement the other way???

2nd edit: And DQ calls are going DOWN from 65p/min with a 65p minimum charge to 5p minimum charge, not up!! If you've been getting them for 5p/min before now I wish I had your phone :-)
