gas oven... good or bad?

    If I had a fan assisted gas oven then it would probably be better, but doesn't gas give a very "moist" heat compared with the "dry" heat from electric?

    Gas ovens are a different matter. I don't see many gas ovens less than about 30 years old - my granny used to have one complete with a high level gas grill, but definitely a rarity!

    Try an induction hob. My ex is a chef and we both HATED the electric solid plate hob with a passion, once I got the induction even he had to grudgingly admit it was pretty close to gas. And sooooooo easy to clean up. :D
